I find that, in some small ways, this map endorses the player to establish trade routes much like the ones used by the Hanse. It is, however, a quite nice presentation of general outlines of the Hanse as it was and operated, if I may say so myself, and it comes with a complimentary documentation file, which should somehow make up for inaccuracies and anachronisms in the finished map. I have finally completed my version 1.0 of a historical map, depicting actual documented production facilities and trade routes of 14th century northern Europe.Ĭompromises have been made, game mechanics drastically changed in the process, and in spite of intentions, no actual highly believable realism could be made.
